The Peachtree City VFW Post 9949 is proud to offer you an opportunity to honor those who have served or are currently serving our country in any branch of the military. All veterans, living or deceased, regardless of residence are eligible to have a brick placed around the Peachtree City Veterans Memorial. This perpetual setting will be for all to observe and share. The Peachtree City Veterans Memorial is located adjacent to the American Flag at City Hall in Peachtree City. The Veterans name, rank/branch and dates of service will be etched into a marble brick that matches our Veterans Memorial. This is an alphabetical listing of all those who have been honored and remembered by having a brick in place. It also specifies the location of each brick. Each brick is identified by a set of data in 4 columns. The first column gives the locating coordinates of the brick. the second is the surname. The third is the complete name as inscribed on the brick. the fourth column is the brick data identifier, the sequential order number that allows the Quartermaster to check inscribed data vs the requested inscription. Each of the pages contains 2 parallel sets of data per row. The listing goes from top to bottom and then returns to the top and the second set runs from top to bottom. Individual data lines printed in Red indicate these View the Brick Layout. This is a plan view showing the numbering for Rows and the lettering for the columns. Row numbers start at 01 in row nearest the curb and runs to 72 for row nearest highway 54. Columns are lettered from left to right form "A" to "Z" skipping "I" and "O" and then double lettered from "AA" to "LL" skipping "II". |
